In November, Israeli stocks recovered $35 billion in losses made in October due to the war. How can a war-stricken stock market perform so well?
Israel is a neoliberal economy. Hence, economic activity is mostly private not public. Stocks and private debt and investment are good indicators of the health of the economy. Hence, Israel has deployed many measures to re-float the stock market.
