Inflation Floods the Axis of Resistance
Both the West and BRICS are addressing the AoR’s inflation crisis as a means of reshaping regional and global financial dynamics.
Before 7 October, countries within the Axis of Resistance (AoR) were already grappling with severe inflation under Western-backed sanction regimes. The onset of the current regional war against Israel has worsened these issues, driving inflation and currency devaluation to unprecedented levels, escalating the financial front of the West’s strategy. However, the often-overlooked faith-based dimension of the AoR continues to underpin the resilience demonstrated through various relief efforts in the affected nations. Consequently, the ongoing economic and financial turmoil may represent a critical turning point for the realisation of regional ambitions, such as Palestinian statehood, BRICS integration, and the survival of the AoR.
