The Rapid Support Forces, alongside allied groups, have signed a charter to establish a government parallel to the de facto led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. The signing ceremony took place in Nairobi, as the Burhan-led army continued to recapture key areas in Khartoum and el-Obeid. The new charter is accompanied by a military buildup, signalling the birth of an Emirati coalition to undermine an Axis-aligned peace process.
