SOCIAL POST: Egypt Attacks Israel at SCO, Agrees to Joining SCO Development Bank
Palestine was the biggest beneficiary of this summit, because the East has decided to speedrun dedollarisation.
During the Shangai Cooperation Organization summit, the Egyptian prime minister attacked Israel’s brutality saying it “threatens the multilateral international system.” The timing was no accident. The attack echoed China’s unveiling of the Global Governance Initiative, a call for eastern powers to rise up against the US-led order. This naturally doubles as a rebuke of Israel.
These historic achievements are partly owed to Trump. US sanctions against India helped thaw Sino-Indian relations. Tariffs and Gaza pressure have even pushed allies like Jordan to lean on BRICS and dedollarisation.
The new SCO bank is a coordinated effort to reduce reliance on the USD. This further de-dollarisation among member states strengthens Palestine’s position: by shifting trade, financing, and aid outside of dollar-dominated channels, Israel’s ability to weaponise the western financial system is blunted. The Tianjin summit turned finance into a weapon for Palestine.
