The Land Blockade Has Partially Worked and It Cost Nothing
In November, I suggest that as part of the conflict between Israel and the Axis, Jordan could enforce a land blockade to disrupt Israeli supply lines. Shortly after that, Iraqi resistance forces attacked a US base in Jordan, signalling preparations for this blockade. I had outlined potential enforcement strategies, ranging from violent tactics like drone and machine gun attacks to non-violent protests and road closures. Subsequent protests in Jordan have called for blocking imports from Gulf countries to Israel via Jordanian ports and have demanded the establishment of a humanitarian corridor from Jordan to Gaza.
