US beats Iran: Underlooked US achievements in Gaza war
It is currently fashionable to claim that the US is not achieving its objectives in the region, but I think this can be an unfair statement. After the US announced the establishment of the India Middle East Europe Economic Corridors last year in September they also announced a strategic partnership with Bahrain. The aim of the strategic partnership is to be a foundation for a so-called Arab NATO formed by countries in cahoots with the Americans. Bahrain as a result has taken part in the military operations conducted by the US and it's allies in the Red Sea against Houthis.
The US has also succeeded in forming an alliance of countries that want to work together in cooperation with the Abraham Accord countries to deliver aid to Gaza via sea and air. Hence, an aid air bridge and a temporary maritime port are being established.
Whether at sea or air, the US is demonstrating the value from working through its global and regional infrastructure to organise the logistics needed for war and peace efforts. In this way, the US has surpassed the Iran led regional alliance which remains capable at war yet fails to ensure aid reaches Gaza. The US and its allies are showing their control of war through using the US military supply lines in the region to back the war machine in Gaza. They are stating their control of peace and development by controlling aid delivery and post-conflict reconstruction.
The US continues to ensure it has a resilient supply chain in the region which is superior to any other great or regional powers. It is enforcing the Defence and the MARITIME Acts. Iran and its allies fall short on proving the resilience of their regional supply lines beyond war.
Iran and its allies can disrupt, but can they reconstruct? This is the question this war is seeking to ultimately answer. So far, the answer has been negative. Thus, expect escalation aimed at demonstrating Iran and its Axis ability to physically break the siege. The US is trying to undermine Iran goal by showing its lack of ability to establish a maritime route to Gaza and an airport. Can Iran and its allies rise up tp the challenge?
