US-Isr financial war on Palestine: Bank Leumi blocks UNRWA bank account

This is something most people are not aware of. Palestine does not have a currency and uses the Isr Shekel instead. Isr bans Palestinians from having their own currency and instead forces them to use the Shekel in a way that supports their own occupation. Essentially, every time you send aid to Palestine, you are effectively funding Isrseli occupation by growing the monetary base of the Isrseli economy and all the fees and fines associated with using its system. Isr dictates the exchange and reserve rates as well making independent economic development impossible.

In continuation of breaching Palestine sovereignty and financial war, Bank Leumi, Isr biggest bank, blocked UNRWA bank account.

It seems Isr notified western governments of its intention to financially sanction UNRWA. Hence, some governments have chose to comply. Thus, even if western governments did not cut funding to UNRWA it would have had the money frozen into the Isrselis financial system. Hence, UNRWA defunding is an Isrselis decision first and foremost. Western governments did not wanted to be implicated in terrorism financing which would have hurt some of its ratings. This was not a moral decision, but a decision driven by self interest.

Isrsrl wants to annex the West Bank and part of Gaza. Hence, destroying UNRWA serves to manufacture the necessary chaos to justify annexation. Hamas as well sees UNRWA destruction as instrumental to an uprising in the West Bank which is expected this year.

I have been arguing for many years now, without dedollarisation there will never be an independent country called Palestine. The US and Isrsel through financial warfare will make sure this is never happens. Unless China and Russia aid in Palestine dedollarisation, they are handing the keys of Palestine to Isr which will annex whatever it can and end the political project of Palestine.
